Chloramphenicol in some countries is an ingredient of: Chlorsig, PentamycetinThis cephalosporin antibiotic cures contagions created by bacteria. It is presupposed for the cure of some brain, lung, blood, or other severe contagions.
Do not take it if you have intolerance reaction to chloramphenicol or resembling antibiotics. Problems with liver or kidneys, anemia, G6PD, dental problems should be discussed with a physician beforehand. The medicine can be dangerous for a fetus and an infant therefore pregnant and nursing women should consult the doctor before taking it.
